Hebrew text scored under one of five ciphers.
standard (mispar hechrachi) the ordinary values; gadol the final forms at 500-900 instead of their base values; ordinal (mispar siduri) position in the alef-bet, 1-22; katan each letter reduced to a single digit; atbash each letter swapped for its mirror before valuing. Vowel points and other combining marks are stripped first - they are not letters and carry no value.
EXPECTS HEBREW SCRIPT. Latin or any other alphabet scores 0 and every character comes back in `unscored`, rather than being transliterated: every source transliterates differently, and a confident number derived from an arbitrary choice is worse than an obvious zero.
