Lal Kitab houses

The twelve Lal Kitab houses: each one's lord (maalik), the grahas whose pakka ghar it is, the grahas exalted and debilitated in it, and who is actually sitting there. MOST OF THIS RESPONSE IS THE SAME FOR EVERY NATIVE, and `is_chart_dependent` says which fields are which. Because the houses are fixed to the signs, a house's lord, its pakka ghar and its exaltations are properties of the SIGN, not of the chart - only `planets` comes from the birth details. `pakka_ghar` is a LIST, not a single graha: Mercury and Venus share the 7th, Mars and Saturn the 8th, Jupiter and Rahu the 12th, and Mercury and Ketu the 6th. Debilitation is derived as the seventh sign from exaltation rather than held in a second table, so the two can never contradict each other. Rahu is taken as exalted in Gemini and Ketu in Sagittarius; sources differ and the other tradition puts them in Taurus and Scorpio, so the choice is stated in `node_exaltation`. The `soya` and `kismat` fields other vendors return are deliberately absent - we could not establish a rule for either from a source rather than a guess.

longitude	number (double)	required	Longitude of the place, in decimal degrees. Positive is east, negative is west. Example: 75.7873 for Jaipur, -74.0060 for New York. Note the sign: a missing minus puts New York in China. min -180 · max 180
ayanamsa	string	optional	Ayanamsa for the underlying sidereal positions. Lal Kitab itself is house-based and does not prescribe one; this is passed through to the position engine.
timezone_as_float	number (double)	optional	UTC offset of the place, in hours, as a decimal. Example: 5.5 for India (UTC+05:30), -5 for New York in winter, 5.75 for Nepal. This is NOT validated against date_time - if the two disagree you get a successful response for the wrong moment, so derive both from the same source. Use the offset in force on that date, not today's: a summer birth in a country with daylight saving needs the summer offset. min -12 · max 14
